 Wearing Balinese Traditional Clothing, Jokowi arrived in Kuala Lumpur

JBN.CO.ID ■ President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday (8/8) evening.

After flying for about 2.5 hours, the President and his entourage arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia, at 19.30,  local time was welcomed by the Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia Rusdi Kirana along with his wife, Malaysian Defense Minister Mr. H. Mohamad bin Sabu along with his wife, Indonesian Defense Attache in Malaysia Col. Inf. Tri Andi Kuswantoro.

From Kuala Lumpur International Airport, President Jokowi, who was still wearing Balinese traditional clothing, was used during the opening of the 5th Congress of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle and First Lady Iriana directly went to the hotel where she was staying in Kuala Lumpur.

Previously, President Jokowi said, many things needed to be discussed with Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, especially with regard to borders, regarding TKI, including regarding palm oil discrimination.

"That's the main thing," said President Jokowi.

Accompanying President Jokowi during this visit included Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, and Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto.
